The WTC is a young proactive Apex Chamber in India which is working at the grass-root level with strong national and international linkages. The Chamber acts as a catalyst in the promotion of industry, trade, and entrepreneurship. A non-government, not-for-profit organisation, playing a proactive role in building India’s sustainable economic development.
The WTC is the voice of India’s business, policy advocacy, economic growth and development of the nation and business community.
The WTC significantly contributes to socio-economic development, CSR, Sustainability, trade, and international business community. We developed immersive, experiential learning platform to interact with leading companies, business incubators, and other like-minded businesspeople.
The WTC articulates and works to sustain the views and concerns between the industry and government. It serves its members from the Indian private and public corporate sectors and multinational companies, drawing its strength from diverse regional chambers of commerce and industry across states.
To be the principal bilateral facilitator committed to the promotion of economic, industrial, business, and commercial activities with geographic boundaries being no bars and integrating a strong culture of commitment to the community.

B. The Landscape of New Age Innovation:
New age innovation encompasses advancements in technology, business models, and processes. In India, this includes fields like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), blockchain, biotechnology, and renewable energy. The Indian startup ecosystem, one of the fastest-growing globally, exemplifies the country’s innovative spirit. According to NASSCOM’s 2023 India Tech Start-Up Landscape Report, the Indian tech startup ecosystem has grown 15-fold in the past decade, with over 950 new startups in 2023 alone, bringing the total to 31,000. Additionally, India now has over 100 unicorns, with a combined valuation of $341 billion, showcasing the robust growth and potential of the ecosystem.
Indian healthcare sector is much diversified and is full of opportunities in every segment, healthcare has become one of India’s largest sector, both in terms of revenue and employment. The WTC’s innovative team is dedicated to take up the emerging challenges & opportunity to achieve differentiative and sustainable goal for the society. Our team has been initiating. The WTC Committee has been pivotal in facilitating interaction among stakeholders to jointly work towards creating the building blocks for achieving quality healthcare through several initiatives.
India’s education sector offers a great opportunity with ~26.31% of India’s population in the age group of 0 to 14 years. Education sector in India is expected to reach US$ 180 billion in FY20. India’s higher education segment is expected to increase to Rs. 2,44,824 crore (US$ 35.03 billion) by 2025. India holds an important place in the global education industry. India has one of the largest networks of higher education institutions in the world.
The WTC has been playing proactive role in the higher education sector supported by key representatives from Leading Higher Education Institutions Universities, Industry, and the Government.
Agriculture is the primary source of livelihood for about 58% of India’s population. India is expected to achieve the ambitious goal of doubling farm income by 2022. The agriculture sector in India is expected to generate better momentum in the next few years. The WTC agriculture team has been strenuously working on agriculture policies and suggestions that would increase productivity and competitiveness of Indian Agriculture.
Manufacturing has emerged as one of the high growth sectors in India. Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi, launched the ‘Make in India’ program to place India on the world map as a manufacturing hub and give global recognition to the Indian economy. Government aims to create 100 million new jobs in the sector by 2022. The manufacturing sector of India has the potential to reach US$ 1 trillion by 2025.
At WTC we aim and ensure to support and help all concerns related to the Government policies which manufacturing sector is dealing with.
The WTC Business & Industry Association has considered to engage with the Government and businesses to leverage Renewable Energy Resources for better fulfillment of growing needs within an eco-friendly ecosystem.
